Parent Coaching

As a uniquely tailored program, BIG offers Parent Coaching services to families that are not enrolled in a full-time ABA program. In this individualized program, behavior analysts work one-on-one with a family to address and improve the children's behaviors in their commonly encountered natural settings.

Parent Coaching is appropriate if parents need additional support and behavior-based strategies to address obstacles such as potty training, mealtime, or other problem behaviors occurring at the home or in the community (e.g., grocery stores, restaurants). Additionally, they can offer assistance in improving daily routines – morning, after school, bedtime, etc.

The intensity, frequency and duration of the Parent Coaching sessions will be tailored to each family’s particular needs. BIG also meets with each family to review progress made during the program. This may include face-to-face meetings, phone conferences and/or data reviews.
