Ashely Thacker

Ashley is one of two lead teachers in the Developmental Pre-K class at BIG where she engages students in group learning to help them gain fundamental ELA and Math skills. Ashley works to foster an environment of true inclusion, where clients work alongside their typically developing peers to gain the essential social and emotional skills they will need when they transition into school. Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education as well as over ten years of experience working in education and childcare in different capacities. Her experience teaching in public school specifically fuels her desire to see that every one of the children in her care grow into confident students.
