Emilee Root

Emilee earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in May of 2019. Emilee found her passion for ABA when she started working at BIG in the spring of 2023. Throughout her time at BIG, she has worked with an array of ages and varying degrees of verbal behavior. She held the position as program manager while attaining her master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University and graduated in fall of 2025. After completing her degree, she earned her certification as a BCaBA and began practicing as a BCaBA in February of 2026. Emilee is passionate about teaching her clients functional skills such as communication and life skills to enhance their independence and further their development. She is prides herself in being a compassionate listener to her clients and believes that each of her clients can reach their potential.
