Kat has worked at BIG since the Spring of 2018 following her graduation from Louisiana State University with her Bachelors of Science in Child and Family Studies. She earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in High Incidence Disabilities and a focus in ABA from Nicholls State University in the Spring of 2021 and passed her BCBA certification exam in the Fall of 2021. During her time as a BCBA at BIG, Kat has worked with clients ranging from the ages of 3 to 8 years old. In 2023, Kat began serving as a member of BIG’s leadership team as the Director of Staff Development. In this role, Kat focused on developing and implementing internal processes to support and develop our staff. In 2025, Kat became credentialed as a Level 6 Trainer in the Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment protocol to support clients with severe problem behavior through compassionate care and skill development.
